As security risks increase and budgets tighten its important to get value for money and a professional service. Government Licensing of the Security Industry has helped companies to focus their buying and gives them an indication of a suppliers ability to perform, especially those with the coveted Approved Contractor Scheme accreditation (ACS). Security is no longer just a ‘man on the door’ but can be a fully integrated solution that works in support of your business and not just a cost burden. Security Services comes in many forms and can be taken as a single service or a mixture of services that best suits your needs, typical services include:

Manned Guarding – the traditional security officer, concierge or reception type role. Whether covering nights, days, weekends or 24/7, security officers need to be managed, trained, stable and reliable. All staff must be licensed through the Security Industry Authority and vetted and trained to British Standards BS 7858 and 7499.

Key Holding – Key holding services allows you to have a spare set of insured keys held securely away from site. Your keys are held to a British Standard, BS 7984, and can be used in emergency or for an alarm call out.

Mobile Patrols and Alarm Response – Mobile patrols involve a trained, uniformed officer visiting sites at agreed but random intervals. These patrols can form part of a deterrent or perhaps fulfil an insurance requirement, especially for empty buildings. If things do go wrong and the alarm sounds, who will attend in the middle of the night? It better that an officer with the back-up of a 24 hour live monitoring station attends and deal with the situation professionally.
